Columbia’s Leading Antisemite

Columbia University Apartheid Divest, or CUAD, is responsible for the pro-Hamas “Gaza Solidarity Encampment” that led to hundreds of arrests on the Columbia campus and criticism of rampant antisemitism on a national scale.

CUAD’s latest letter demanding divestment from the university lists the groups that make up CUAD, including the Black Student Organization.

Shaya Godyki is Senior Chair for the Black Student Organization.

That means Godyki is part of a group that backs “‘armed resistance’ by Hamas,” according to the New York Times. It is also a group that withdrew an apology it made on behalf of a member who said that “Zionists don’t deserve to live.” CUAD even recently called for Hamas to “besiege” Israeli and American embassies.

CUAD supports terrorists, and as a co-signer, the Black Student Organization with the support of Shaya Godyki, does as well.

Columbia University’s failure to confront antisemitism head-on has led to uncontrollable escalation. Now, the administration must hold these individuals accountable and apply standard policies to prevent this hatred from continuing to thrive on campus.
